The legacy of Kidde Fire Systems and Kidde Fire Protection, which started with Walter Kidde in 1917, has protected assets worldwide for over 100 years with engineered and pre-engineered suppression systems and detection technologies. Fenwal Controls, with roots in the original development of the THERMOSWITCH in the 1930s and the Detect-A-Fire in the 1940s, has been the trusted choice of OEMs for precision gas ignition and temperature control solutions.
