Best Practices for Optimal Performance
- Maintain separation between detector wiring and high-voltage cabling to reduce EMI, ensuring consistent detection reliability, a design approach supported by Fenwal Controls’ own EMI mitigation research.
- Conduct regular functional testing using approved smoke test aerosols (e.g., SM200-12PKG)
- Replace detectors per NFPA 72 guidelines or manufacture’s recommended lifecycle.
